We have a requirement to change some of our communication channels to SFTP instead of FTP.
We patched our PI 7.11 to SP14 and have installed the SFTP adapter.
I tried a simple scenario to get familiar with this new adapter.
Pick up a file containing a xml message and place the message elsewhere.
First I used the known standard FTP adapter just to confirm the scenario.
User has access, file can be read, message is processed - all good.
Then I replaced the sender communication channel with the new communication channel using SFTP adapter.
Communication channel monitor shows that a file is found - but there is no processing of the file/message.
Just the polling mentioning that 1 file is found.
I tried looking in the log files but found no entries related to this channel.
What can be the cause that the SFTP adapter is not picking up the file ?
Any pointers on where to look for more troubleshooting information ?

Hello,
A message was sent to SAP support and the solution was found with Note 2209496.
The latest patch was installed for PIB2BSFTP04.SCA - we went from 4/10 to 4/17.

Hello Sammy,
Try restarting the channel
and what is the processing mode of the channel?

Hello,
The channel was already been restarted - even the whole java stack has been restarted.
Full cache refresh was also done.
No result.
What exactly are you asking about the processing mode ?
The current setup is to delete the file after processing / process empty file / archive faulty files.
