Created Lumira Bar chart with a date dimension on the X-axis. Looked great with the date sorted oldest to newest, but the user wants the date sorted newest to oldest. Used the "Sorted by Dimensions" icon to change the sort. It changed the sort to the other dimension. Clicked it again and it sorted the the other dimension descending. Third time the sort icon changed the date dimension back to the starting sort order. Never did change the date to newest to oldest. Can anyone suggest a way to sort the date dimension to newest to oldest in a chart?

Hello Tammy,
I'm on 1.28 and the behavior is same as mentioned by Jay.
1. By default the sorting is: Ascending sort by Dimension (country)
2. When the mentioned icon is clicked, sorting is: Descending by Measure (Discount)
3. When the mentioned icon is clicked again, sorting is: Ascending by Measure (Discount)
and finally back to default again.
It seems, Descending sort by Dimension is not possible.
Please check and confirm.

Hi,
There is no custom/manual sort field in SAP Lumira. i.e letting user manually decide sorting sequence on a field/column.
So Vote this idea to get that feature:
User | Count |
---|---|
87 | |
10 | |
10 | |
9 | |
7 | |
6 | |
6 | |
5 | |
4 | |
3 |
