Oracle error 12170 error for SAP Connection with DB

Hi All,

Recently we have upgraded oracle 10.2.0.0 to 11.2.0.4.  Almost  say 5 mins dispatcher is up , after that dispatcher goes down.

When i checked sqlnet.log file we come across error 12170 error.

Can anyone suggest, what would be the best approach for resoltuion of this error.

Can we increase the trace level for sqlnet .If so please let me know the steps to perform.

Hi All,

Issue is fixed after setting ,(For remote connections to work,) remote_os_authent must be=TRUE using below command.

alter system set remote_os_authent=true scope=spfile;
