Hi All,
We recently had APO service pack upgrade from SCM 7.02 SP8 to SCM 7.02 SP15.
Post upgrade, we are seeing CIF queues of FC* type is getting generated and are in READY state in SMQ2 in APO.
We do not have FC* registered in SMQR in APO.
We did not get these CIF queues before upgrade.
I went through the below link.
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_em70/helpdata/en/6f/785e3f71e41e26e10000000a114084/content.htm
Is anybody familiar with FC* CIF queues and what is the impact if we register them in SMQR in APO?
Look forward to your quick response.
Thanks in advance,
Ehsan Ahmed
Hi,
Please check below setting in APO.
SPRO -> APO -> Demand Planning -> Basic Settings -> Consumption -> Set Consumption Type.
See if you have other setting than "Online Consumption"
Please also check this wiki page http://wiki.scn.sap.com/wiki/x/iYQ8Gg , pay attention to "Consumption using qRFC and Background Consumption" part.

Hi Ehsan,
We are facing the same issue. There are lot of FC* queues stuck in the inbound queue with Ready status. kindly let me know if you have found any information on the same .
Thanks,
Tejaswi

Hi Venkat,
We raised it with SAP and we were told its a consulting issue. As per SAP, these queues are generated from ECC, so the upgrade of APO should not matter here.
However, we are sure it happened due to the upgrade in APO.
As a workaround, you can manually process them in SMQ2.
We are left with no other option than to register FC* in tcode SMQR in APO.
I would suggest you raise it with SAP and see what is their response.
thanks
Ehsan
Hi
Check if someone did below (in SAP note) or if you see anything in SMQE.
633261 - /SAPAPO/DM_ALLOCATION_RFC not supported in queue display
Do you see this in all environments i.e. development/quality/production (depending upon what has been upgraded)?
Regards
Rahul
