Planning Book Selection window showing just one characteristic

Hi Experts,

Assigned all characteristics of DP planning object structure to planning book. All characteristics (product, location, customer, etc.) are appearing to choose from in show field & also in object selection window.

Say Product is chosen in show field, and plant is further chosen as selection criteria. On loading the selection only product field is appearing with 5 fields for product characteristic. By choosing selection fields able to show just one field for Product characteristic.

But don't see any option to display other characteristics like location, customer, etc. How to show them? Screen shot attached.

Hi Bijit,

As per your query, since you have selected Base material in show field, so that is what is appearing e.g. MAT in your screenshot. So, selection is filtering all Base material which is present in Delivery Plant 2003 and in your case only MAT is present. If you will have multiple Base materials assigned to plant 2003 then same will be shown in the selection output.

Regarding your query for viewing the other characteristic associated with MAT and 2003 - you can drill down and navigate through them after you load this selection in the planning book. Once the data os loaded in the planning book then corresponding characteristic associated like Location, customer etc. will be available by selecting the Header Information settings at top of planning book and selecting the characteristic from there as shown in below screenshot.

Hi Bijit,

This is selection window where you choose characters as per planning process. In your case you are filtering them as per location and header being "Base Material". It will always show as per header and will filter as per different criteria.

If you want to drill-down on different levels then you need to load the data and then use "header information setting" where you can choose different characters for drill-down.

I would recommend you to play around to get better understanding of the same.
