Install Solution Manager 7.1 on windows and MSSQL

Dear All:

I try to use the "Master Guide" to find the step of installation,but fail.

I use the URL http://support.sap.com/software/installations.html  to find the software of solution manager.

And i can see many software files.( Please refer to the attachment )

Then i download all files,but i do not know how to install these files.

For example, the file "51044827" include the SQL4SAP_docu.pdf. The PDF can teach me how to install it, this is ok. But when i unzip the "51042609", it show many files and no include any installation guide, i do know how to use it or maybe i do not need to use it.

Please kindly provide me the Guide link or URL or any kind of way to guide me how to use these download files and the priority order of installation and the function of these download files.

Hello Ying-Fu,

You need to read Master Guide for general installation knowledge.

1- For installation Guide you must go to bottom of the page and find the guide "Installation: Systems Based on SAP NetWeaver 7.0 / 7.0 EHPs"

2- You need to download DVDs. You can find the required DVDs from installation guide.

3- For installation you must download the latest version of tool SWPM from https://service.sap.com/sltoolset (need S user authentication)

There is explanations about how to run SWPM.

You will to see below screen (select the DB according to your DB selection. Screen is for Oracle) and continue.
