Depreciation Simulation for Projects - Does this require Investment Management Configuration?

Hello.

I know it is possible to include projects and WBS elements in the Depreciation Simulation. What I need to know is if it's possible without crossing the line into FI-IM. I note that SAP has moved the report out from the Asset Accounting nodes and that it is now exclusively found within the IM nodes.

Here's the question: Is any IM configuration required to enable the Depreciation Simulation report to include projects, or can it be done 100 percent within Project System?

Hello David,

Simulation Asset Class is assigned in the IM profile.  So, you need to step into IM a bit.

Yes IM Plays a role to simulate asset class as this flows from the IM Profile
as Paulo just mentioned
