Remote host did not respond within Timeout period in Receiver Comm channel

Dear Team,

Basically its an FTP to FTPS scenario, when the files are send to target server from PI, when sending below error occurs at Receiver communication channel

A remote host did not respond within the timeout period: Attempt to process the file failed with java.net.ConnectException

The port is opened and rule is enabled for ftps -unidirectional.

Telnet is working fine and also NAL. But when pinging IP address in Command prompt and Fillezilla it is not working.

But Fillezilla through SSL explicit mode and command prompt not working and throws n error Attempt Connection TIMEDOUT.Please help.

Rajesh,

When ping is not working it should be the case where server is down or server details are wrong.

Hello Raghu,

But Telnet is working fine. From PI end houlf we need to maitain any additional paramters or any advance cofigurations is require in receiver communication channel.

Hello Rajesh,

Check whether all the ports are opened for connection from PI server level or may be any firewall/port blocking at FTP server level as well.

Hello Rajesh,

Suggest you to re-check with your network team. From the error it seems that issue with Firewall / Ports. You should be able to connect / ping from client network to IP address so that PI CC can function without any errors.
