how to restrict non supervisor user to enter UD for off spec RR

Hi Guys,

Our requirement is as below

1. Non-supervising people could make UD at QA 32 for all inspection lot without off spec results.
2. For inspection lots with off spec results, UD shall be restricted at QA 32 by non-supervising  people and supervising people shall make UD at QA 11.

How can I achieve this scenario?

UDs are basically supposed to be given by the senior person (Supervisor) only. Why they should only give it for Not ok case? Why not for a ok case as well?

As far as I see this, in standard SAP there is an authorization object based on UD but that will restrict for all the cases. Digital signatures will also work in the similar way. Explore if you can create new authorization object in ABAP and insert the same in to UD exit? Or create a new Z table and add supervisors user IDs there; write logic in the the exit which will check for not ok characteristic in the inspection lot and it will prevent the UD or stock posting if the current user (who is processing the transaction) is not listed in the Z table.
