customer credit limit checking

Automatic credit management is active in our system.

looking for way out for following scenario

Customer A has the credit limit of 100000. Sales order value if 200000. As per setting system allows the creation of sales order.

when creation of OBD for value 102000 system blocks

We want to allow the creation of OBD if the value of sales order is more upto 5000 of available credit limit.

Case 1

Customer A Credit limit : 100000

sales order value             200000

OBD                              102000

System response  : Allow creation of OBD/PGI

Case 2

Customer A Credit limit : 100000

sales order value             106000

System response  : Block creation of OBD/PGI

Is there any wayout to take care of this scenario

Hi,

Its just an alternative solution  - you can use Credit limit Seasonal Factor section to cater this requirement. Enter the percentage field as 5 %  , Check the Minus and Valid from-as today's date and Valid to-as Infinity date.
