Is there also a function, to download mails like outlook from an SMTP-provider?

Hello together,

we have realized it with an own domain in the SAP.

So what I understood is that without CRM it isn't possible to download via SMTP.

Kind regards

Hi,

As far as I know this is possible in CRM via groupware server. CRM <-> Groupware server <-> Exchange server (outlook, lotus note)

You can go through the below blog if that helps you on this topic...

Hope this helps.

Hi Christian,

Have you tried KBA 2203325? (video embedded document).

Kind regards,

Hi Cris,

this is what already works.

But for this, I need to send the mails to an explicit host.
What I want is like in outlook, that I can download mails from an SMTP (via pull out of SAP) to SAP.

Kind regards

Hi Christian,

As I understand it, you are after POP3 or IMAP functionality for SAP. Meaning you want to pull mail from a remote server into SAP(office).

As far as I am aware (PI excluded) this isn't possible in backends like ERP/CRM. That's just AFAIAA.

Maybe some other enlightened person might know different.

Cheers,
