SAP GUI for Java 7.00 rev. 3 ABAP Editor line length

Hi,

just updated SAP GUI for Java 7.00 from rev. 1 to 3 and noticed that the ABAP Editor has a visible line length limitation at 72 characters now. The only configuration related to this is in Utilities > Settings > ABAP Editor > "Downwards-Comp. Line Lngth(72)", but it has no affect.

Anyone had this problem?

this is an issue we became aware of recently. The fix will be part of the next revision.
