Issue with heuristic result using interchangeabillity

I need some help with a product for which we have created an interchangebillity.

Product number: A

new Product: B

Location xx

Change over DATE XX.XX.XXX

Old product switches to the new product, as you can see in planning book there is Substitution receipt planned after change over date.

However there are also still normal purchase requisitions planned after the change over date.

They should not be there. Can you see what is wrong?

You have no screen shot.

What date are you entering to expect pur req's NOT to exist after that date?

The dates that exists are:

1) when the interchangeability group is "active" / be considered

2) when the stock of the old will no longer be used for demand  of new.

There is no "end date" which you are referring to.

System will only create one or the other for the "old" product.

It will either create pur req's or "substitution orders" for the product not both.

Be sure it is creating new orders and you are not looking at pre-existing orders.

Remember, by default SNP heuristics will not delete existing pur req's.

The change over date is 30.06.2016,

Use-up strategy : No

The Products procurement type: F

We are running the Heuristic on Destination Location.

But we have both PReq & SubRcp after change over date.

I Product B is new successor and Product A is old (predecessor), SNP Heuristics will not create any Supply elements for Product A.  That is the role/function of interchangeability group.

It will use stock of B and A, any additional demand will result in SNP Supply elements of Product B with a substitution to satisfy demand of Product A.

If so, then your system is messed up or LLC is not set up correctly.
