SYBASE IQ 16 in Windows Server 2012 R2

Hi,

May I know any of you manage to install SYBASE IQ 16 in Windows server 2012 R2? I checked some related discussion which saying SYBASE IQ 16 is supported by Windows server 2012 R2.

I tried to change to Windows 7 and Windows 8 in the setup file --> Compatibility tab, but still failed to install it.

Please kindly advise.

Hi,

The problem is now resolved after I found out that I have downloaded a wrong installer which is not included the SP. Once I have downloaded the Sybase IQ 16 SP10.02 then I manage to install Sybase IQ in my server.

Hi,

If possible, please post the error message when you try to install IQ16 on windows 2012 R2.

And in my experience, the target or source path should not include the white space like below.

ex) D:\IQ 16 TEST\ebfxxx\setup.exe

It is not work for me because I cannot find those directories that need to be delete although I have unhide the content.
