Has one of you execute the system copy on Solution Manager system?

Dear Marilia,

I had just done Homogenous system copy for Solman 7.1 SP11 Oracle 11g Windows 2008 Server,

Just used SWPM for system copy it worked well.

Make sure to use the latest version of Tool and whatever DB you have make sure to check the optimization if needed for that DB.

Also I am not sure if you are using CHARM, you need to check that too.

please check SAP notes for that

Regards,

APS

Hi Marilia,

SOLMAN is a dual-stack system, so all tables (ABAP and JAVA) are on the same DB. You can't do it separately.

The only method supported by SAP is the Homogeneous System Copy:

Why the need to do a system copy?

They want to create a QAS system from PRD.

To create the QAS system, you need to backup the PROD database (recommend to stop the SAP instance), restore the DB on the new system, and then with the SWPM do the Homogeneous Copy.

Don't forget to check the installation guide for SolMan to find what are the Post-Installation procedures.

This is the Windows version: https://websmp104.sap-ag.de/~form/handler?_APP=00200682500000002672&_EVENT=DISPLAY&_SCENARIO=0110003...
