Connection Closed

Hi SDNites,

I am currently facing problem in 2 different interfaces but it looks almost similar.

1. FTPS receiver adpater - Getting error as "Connection closed by remote host".

2. SFTP receiver adapetr - Getting error as "Connection timed out".

Can you please guide if both the problem persists at the firewal level and what action needs to be taken to resolve the same.

check for the server as other experts suggested also check the network/port is enabled

Also any proxy settings.

Please check with receiver system.

Whether it is running or not?

Please ping the channel once from CC monitoring.

I am thinking like Both issues related to Server down.

Hi Abhishek,

The second error Conenction time out occure  when you are unable to reach to server. this can cause by

1) either server address is wrong

2) Server is down

3) Network is blocking the connection

The first issue is when you are able to reach the server but it is unable to authenticate the connection.
