SSO and BO 4.1

Hi experts,

Is it possible to use the nw Sso with certificates x.509 together with the SAP BO 4.1?

Because I found a lot of things that we use the BO with sso with AD directy, but in our case we want that BO get the users from the abap BW and the sign in is used with NW SSO

Hello Arivind,

There was no availability of SSO with x.509 for BO systems 4 or 5 months ago.

I opened an OSS message about this and SAP admitted that x.509 is not supported for BO systems.

I don't think and am not sure whether there is support of x.509 for BO now.

Hi Yüksel, thanks for the reply, and so how do the customer made a workaround?

did they do the sso with AD (kerberos)?

Yes, they are using AD (kerberos).
