SAP would cache crystal report layouts into Windows temp folder, and use them to print, generate pdf etc.

If the cached crystal report layouts get deleted, the error would happen. The error basically means SAP could not find cached crystal report layout in temp folder.

Restart SAP will fix the issue.

If you want to reproduce the issue intentionally, you can use these steps:

1. preview an AR invoice

2. press Window+R key, then type %temp% into the run dialog and press enter

3. Now the temp folder should be open, delete all files in it. ignore the ones that cannot be deleted.

4. preview the AR invoice again. you'll get this error.

Hi sparedwhistle,

Then what is the fix for the issue, we are facing the same issue in one of the client machines and if we reboot the system then the cached layouts also gets removed. Could you help us with the possible fix for the problem.

Regards

Dilip

dilip1992 "Caching" happens when you print a document for the 1st time. Files in temp folder are supposed to be cleared when program exits.

Hi

you have to check the path of the documents in the General Settings--Path .

you need to check if the logon computer can access the folder in the windows.

it is recommended to safe files in B1_SHR so all the computers will get access to the files.
