Error "TNS Connection Timeout"

TNS Connection Timeout Error is coming up while running the Webi Reports.

Can anyone provide the resolution?

Firewall Security can not be removed as its very critical client data.

Is there any other solution

Hi Saurabh,

Perhaps adding the exceptions on the firewall would help you. The best thing would be to get in touch with the DBA team though.

You can make firewall exclusion between your PC(BO server) and Oracle server at 1521 port and check connection with tnsping.exe utility

Have you tried changing the parameter sqlnet.inbound_connect_timeout value.

Also were you able to check the connection using tnsping?
