Hi

Am unable to create service user PIAPPLUSER in the process of NW04s installation.Can any one help me??

IS it ABAP+JAVA (or) JAVA slone?

This is failing in Whcih Phase ?? i.e description of sapinst screen ?

No sreeni, It didnt work...Have u faced the same problem before?Anyother work around??

Hey,I beleive the Installation lost RFC Connection - Stop the installation. Restart the application AS ABAP & JAVA with stopsap r3 & startsap r3.

restart the Installation. am sure it will be thru. & don't forget to delete the user you created in 001 client - if it is solved / not solved just update the message.

I got similar problem - i have done in the same way.

Take a chance & let us know the result.

Don't delete (or) editi any files in sapinst dir.

Hey srini

Thanks a lot for the response....Am installating ABAP+Java with PI usage type.Am failing almost at the last phase of the installation.SLD config is over...Generation of all roles over...creation of PIREPUSER, PIDIRUSER is also over...At the time of PIAPPLUSER it fails...I created this user manually in the ABAP stack and assigned the paticular role for application user and retried the installation still it fails...
