HR Renewal 2.0: installation requirements
We are implementing HR Renewal 2.0 at our client and are currently working on the technical configuration to enable the landing page(timesheet application specifically to begin with). We have a remote gateway set up, our gateway is on a separate server.
We recently upgrade to the latest components - SAP HR 608 SP20 and EA-HR 608 SP20 on ECC. Below is a screenshot of what we have in our systems. We followed all the steps in the HR Renewal 2.0 installation guide - the Fiori applications configured with the same systems work. We activated all oData services, activated the SICF services, activated the switches etc. but, we are unable to launch the landing page and access the UI5 timesheet application.
1) Based on below, do we need IW PGW component in our Gateway system for HR Renewal 2.0 to work? I thought this was already included with what we have installed on our gateway system.
2) We have not yet copied the SAP provided role SAP_EMPLOYEE_ESS_UI5_1 in our namespace in the backend, we are in the process of doing this. Can you please confirm that this activity needs to be performed in the backend system(ECC)?
3) How can I launch the landing page or the timesheet application-> I am guessing we have to launch the application from the gateway system? Currently, I get a 404 not found error even if I try to "test service" for the suite page builder application sicf -> default host-> sap-> bc ->ui5_ui5-> sap -> arsrvc_suite_pb. Is this due to IW PGW or the authorizations? There are no errors in gateway log.
Would really appreciate some help in getting the basic landing page and time sheet application running soonest, as we are on a tight timeline.
