HR Renewal in Central Hub Deployment
We are implementing HR renewal and the deployment/landscape we are thinking is Central hub deployment for HR Renewal. What this means is ECC and Gateway is in a different box.
Where do I do the HR Renewal Configurations?
ECC – ESS and MSS UI5 configuration, LPD_CUST configuration, PFCG roles and other HR activities.
Gateway – Activation of ICF and Odata services
Will the above configuration activities work? Or do you foresee any issues?
What is the recommended approach?
Along with the above decision, we wanted to know, if we don’t implement EP or NWBC just only URL in a browser solution are there any advantages and disadvantages. What does SAP recommend? We are planning to use Fiori Landing page and place one tile for Self-services and upon click on the tile it will route to HR Renewal landing page.
If we implement URL/browser solution
- How does employee log-off from the page?
- How does the language translations happen for multiple countries? as of now we only have US in scope
