Extend Product catalogue

Hi colleagues

We would like to extend the BO Product catalogue.

On the product data we have some customs fields like colour, material, origin and so on.

These fields we would like to use in the export of the product catalogue.

Is there any possibility to deliver this customs fields to the XML of product catalogue.

There are no possibility with the adaption mode, is there a possibility with the SDK?

Hi,

I just had a look into the ProductCatalogue BO and unfortunately it is not released for public write access. So it is not extendable at the moment.

I checked for process extension scenarios to see if any fields from the material or service product can be passed to the product catalogue, but as far as I could see, there are none.

Maybe you could post this question in which is a subspace to this place here. It is more likely that the SAP SDK experts will read and answer the question there.

One last thought: did check if the QuerySalesProductCatalogueIn web service would help you? Maybe you can add your fields to that web service.
