Dear Experts,
we have made a system copy of our BW development system. The old system(s) - ABAP and Java
have been stopped. I have deactivated the Technical Monitoring for them in solman_setup.
BUT - we are still being spammed !!! The system(s) which has been shut down, produces errors in
SM21 of the Solution Manager:
Database error 1034 at CON
> con=2(<hostname>:1522/<SID>): ORA-01034: ORACLE not
> available#ORA-27101: shared memory realm does not
> exist#Solaris-AMD64 Error: 2: No such file or directory
Database error 1034
Database error 1034 at CON
And then we are getting the following e-mails:
Name....................Errors in ABAP System Log
Start Time..............02.11.2015 10:34:42 CET
End Time................02.11.2015 10:34:42 CET
Managed Object..........<MO_name>
Managed Object Type.....Technical Instance
Rating..................Red
Category................Exceptions
Status..................Open
...
PLEASE kindly advise on how to suspend these errors! Many thanks in advance!
P. S.: I don't want to entirely delete this system from Solution Manager, as I plan
to use it as a sandbox for a NetWeaver 7.4 upgrade.
Guys, any ideas ? It looks that I would need to open an OSS message 😕

Hi,
Please review SAP KBA 2227586 - How to delete unwanted Managed Objects permanently from Technical Monitoring. Please be aware the 2nd opting her will remove the system completely. Kind regards, Roland

Hi Roland,
I found the screens, described in the note, but it's not clear what to do...
What to enter for 'Entry Points' ?
I have tried with the hostname of the monitored system and from what
I can find in SM21: <hostname>:1521/<SID (of the Java system)>.
But when I click the green tick, nothing happens... The word execute
flashes quickly in the status bar and nothing more happens, the screen
remains unchanged. Please kindly advise!
Hi Symon,
Please check if the extractors are running for this server, specifically DB extractors.
For the same go to E2E_ Extractor_FWK. Filter with SID and Type as DBMS.
Also, check if the entry for your decommissioned managed system exists in dbacockpit connections. If it exists, please delete the same.
Hope it helps

Hi Aditya,
thanks for the prompt answer. But could you please kindly advise in which workcenter can I
go to the E2E_ Extractor_FWK and also for the dbacockpit connections.
Additionally - I have decided to start oracle for the decomissioned system, but it didn't help.
Now it is generating the following error:
Operating system call connect failed (error no. 146 )
NiConnect Unsuccessful, Return Code: -0010
> Host: <hostname>
> Service: sapgw00
Hi again,
I found the extractor framework in SAP Solution Manager Administration / Landscape.
For the dbacockpit, I just went to the DBACOCKPIT transaction and there were really
all the systems defined there, which I didn't know. So I have grayed out both systems
and let's see in the next minutes if it will finally give me peace with those alerts 🙂
Many thanks for now and let's hope that your answer has won the green tick 😄
Symon,
E2E_extractor_fwk is a transaction you can run from your solution manager system. This will open the extractor framework for you where you can see all the extractors currently running in your system.
DBACOCKPIT: - it has 2 tabs, System configuration and DB connections which you need to delete for that particular decommissioned system.

Hi again,
You are right, E2E_extractor_fwk is a transaction indeed! Perhaps I made a typo, when I
tried to start it with /n...
But I have already turned off those EFWK extractors and the error is still present in SM21
of the Solution Manager!
In DBACOCKPIT I prefer to not delete nothing for now, as I will need this system later.
I just need to stop those annoying messages...
Thank you!
