Why Delivery due list batch jobs need to be stopped for cut over

Hello,

for our production cut over activity, we are asked to stop the delivery creation batch jobs. I need to know the reason for the same. What if we do not stop the delivery creation jobs ?

The delivery due list is for STO

Pamela,

Pretty vague question.  I have no idea what implementation you are attempting.  And no, you don't need to tell me, I still wouldn't know what the answer would be in your particular case.

In general, it is sometimes necessary to stop some or all SD activities during certain cutovers, in order to prevent inconsistencies during programmatic loading of new data.

You should address this question to someone on the implementation team, not to some stranger on SCN who knows little about your cutover plan or the functionality you are attempting to implement.
