Linking FLM file to SAP Objects (PO,PR,HR,etc)

Hi  Experts,

Once the file is approved, we want to link approved file to SAP Object (say in transaction ME22).

In the document it suggests the way to link PO to FLM .

However we are looking for other way round.

Kindly suggest the same.

Hi Shrikanth,

This requirement cannot be handled from FLM side. It should be supported from so many other transactions which is out of FLM control.

Here I can only suggest a workaround from FLM  side.

You can extend the standard FLM Odata service to trigger an action once the File is approved. This action can be anything say, calling a RFC Function module to link the File number with a Purchase Order ( I dont know if such a RFC exixts)

All I am saying is you can trigger any action after the File is approved from FLM side. For this the standard Odata service /PSINDS/FILES_SRV has to be extended.
