Dear Experts,

we have ADS configured  between source ABAP and ADS running on Java.

RFC on ABAP is working fine with everything as mentioned below :

Setting Up Basic Authentication to ADS in an ABAP Environment - Configuring Adobe Document Services ...

but the ADS rfc on Java system   is giving  this error

Thanks in advance.

Kind Regards,

Domnic

Hi ,

You created the ADS RFC as type T (TCP/IP Connection). The expect type is G (HTTP Connections to External Server), not T.

Please review your settings.

This is documented in the links you mentioned.

Diego

Dear Hemanth,

Appreciate your reply, as note points out two cases

Case 1:  Difference in RFC library version

Case 2:  Registered Server program selected but Program ID missing.

In my systems

Case 1: Abap system is on Kernel 722 and Java system is on Kernel 721 so it is not much big a difference.

Case 2 : Yes Program ID is missing can you please guide me regarding the program-id.

Kind Regards,

Domnic.

Hi Dominic,

This looks like a ADS configuration; so please check the settings in the visual admin destination that you created as part of th ADS setup.
