Applying Notes - Can there be negative consequences to future support packa

After applying notes is there a possiblilty that it could create a conflict with a future support package installation? We are running ecc 5 0 with afs add on. I am new to SAP so this might seem like a dumb question. But any insight would be greatly appreciated. I've read the pdf and seen the power point presentation now I need a little more help. Thanks for any help.

Hi Jose,

After applying the Notes if you apply Support Packs, No problem at all,

while applying the support packs SPDD/SPAU Stage will occur,

this means it will asks you that the notes which you applied

the same changes this support pack also having.

SPDD/SPAU is nothing but do you want to Overright the notes which you applied earlier.

SPDD (dictionary objects) and SPAU (repository objects),

As a BASIS consultant which we should not take any decision,

why because as a prerequisite Functional/Technical consultants should be around you while applying the Support packs, they will decide say Y/N

Hello Jose,

There will be no conflicts as such that are not resolvable easily because after every support pack upgrade you will be doing post support pack age activities spau and spdd.Please vist the following link for more information:
