Org unit should not be determined in search

Hi All,

we need to restrict a org unit from determination while searching for a support team using Organizational unit in ITSM ticket.

We don't want to delete this unused org unit and want to use it for future. we also loose data if we are going to delete this org unit from the structure.

Is there anyway to stop the org unit from appearing in the search for support team based on org model.

Please help me to find a way out.

Hi Dillip

Organisational Units have values assigned to them, therefore assign it a value which will ensure it is not picked.

Then adjust your Organisational Data Determination Profile such that it excludes Organisations with the value you've assigned.

Hi Arden,

Thanks for the reply.

I did a workaround by marking the BP for archive and enhanced the BSP search component and excluded all archived BP's from appearing while searching.
