Hi All,

Please tell me why Top-down distribution do not work ? I show all steps at below.

I want to distribute some expenses (Record Type C) to S.Org/SOff./DChl and sale offices base on Revenue (Record Type F)

Hello,

If I remembered correctly, you have created one OSS incident for the above issue.

And I think you have already know the reason for the above KG323 is that you have set "business area" as COPY and specify it as 302.
Since your reference data doesn't have business area as 302, system issue KG323.

Hi Miya Wang,

We have the same problem, we can only run the KE28 with retain in business area. When we try to move the business area from retain to summarize we get the error message KG379:

"You must choose "Retain" for the characteristic Business Area"

We do not have business area in our data, how to avoid this error message?

Hi....

You check whether you select characteristics which were used by  record type “C’ as “Copy Value”.

You check whether the reference data based on Selection Criteria exists.
