0CUST_SALES_ATTR: Delta not working for partner function changes.

We have a problem with delta for the Business content extractor 0CUST_SALES_ATTR.

We enhanced the 0CUST_SALES_ATTR data source for extracting the partner functions of Customer from R/3. The changes to partner functions in R/3 not triggering delta records for this data source.

Extractor run correctly with init or full, Delta is the problem

Hi Marc,

0CUST_SALES_ATTR is based on table KNVV and is a change pointer based datasource which looks into table BDCP to identify deltas.

Now since partner function is a KNVP table field so I don't think your delta will get generated in datasource when you change only partner function.

If you need partner function of a customer then I would think cleaner way is to create generic datasource on KNVP and then read it directly in BW during customer load.

For FULL and INIT load it is working because it reads from KNVP correctly but it will not generate deltas.

I believe there are many people faced this issue already and you can easily create a generic view based datasource on KNVP.
