i accidently created a datawindow in 12.6
is there anyway to export it down to the 12.5.2 version?
i know i can create the window all over again
just hoped there was an easier way
Yes ,
Export and edit the souce of the datawindow and import into previous versions.
The release line you need to downgrade to what it is in 12.5.
Any new properties need to be manually deleted.
If you import and there is an error then you get a line and column number.
.
If you use PB's file editor then you see line and column number of the cursor at the bottom right (e.g. 0015:0070)
The column number is at the end of the property the import does not understand.
The line number may be 1 off due to an extra header line.

Export the source and edit the source file. At the top change the line that says release 12.6 to 12.5.
Typically any new features show up at the bottom of the source file. The best way to find out is to quickly create a simple datawindow in 12.5 and 12.6 and then compare the source of both for differences. Once all done, import your edited source file.
