Iflow dropping off communication channel

Hi

I have developed p-2-p interface using iflow and it is working alright.

During code review, I was advised to change the service interface name.

When I did that one, iflow asked to renew the service interface as old one won't exists.

When I said YES, it dropped off the communication channel and OM objects.

There was no issue with OM as I picked that up again from pop-up selection.

But the problem is communication channel. I am not able to pick-up the old one <IFLOWNAME_CHANNELNAME)which I have configured with channel parameters. I ended up doing everything a fresh.

1. Is there a way, I can save this Communication channel so that no need to configure every time I make small changes ?

2. Is there a way, to copy IFLOW1 Communication channel to IFLOW2 so that no need to configure manually every time ?

Thanks

Kumar

Hi Kumar,

The best way to address your issue is to create a communication channel first and then assign it in the iflow.

So instead of configuring the channel in the Iflow, you have to assign the referenced channel.

This practice makes the communication channel as a separate entity.

Any changes to iflow will not affect your communication channel.
