Hello Community,

Does SAP Hana Cloud Connector work on Windows 10 ?

After installation of Windows 10 I get Blank Screen after logon in https://localhost:8443/

Does SAP Hana Cloud Connector work on Windows 10 ?  ===> yes, it is possible.

I installed SAP Hana Cloud Connector on Windows 10 successfully and working fine.

Resolution: window10, 64 bit machine (i used JDK 1.7)

1) Make sure JDK version  1.6/1.7  only not higher

2) Make sure environement variable for Path="C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.7.0_79\bin" and

   JAVA_Home="C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.7.0_79"

3) Make sure during the installation jdk path is "C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.7.0_79" (for sapcc-2.7.1-windows-x64.msi/sapcc-2.7.2-windows-x64.msi)

    because JDK 1.8 is not supported for this insallation

4) Make sure open https://localhost:8443/ in chrome browser,

     =>you got message as "Your connection is not secure",

     =>click on Advanced button then you got message as

            "localhost:8443 uses an invalid security   certificate.",

      i.e. The certificate is not trusted because it is self-signed. The certificate is only valid for SCC

    => click on Add Exception button and confirm security exception for "https://localhost:8443/" then

       you wil get  "SAP HANA Cloud Connector Login" screen

Hi Ugo,

so far Windows 10 has not yet been validated. Hence, it is not supported yet. The supported operating system versions are listed on the Cloud Connector prerequisites page.

Hi Patrick,

Windows 10 is not supported yet by default. So the native library needed for starting the port is not unpackaged to the folder where the runtime is looking for it. As a workaround put -Dorg.osgi.framework.os.name=win32 to the props.ini file.

with version 2.7.2 released today, Windows 10 is now supported officially. Hence, you can drop all workarounds and use 2.7.2, which is downloadable from Cloud Tools page.

The SAP HANA Cloud Platform Release Notes inform about further enhancements and fixes in this version.

i tried with version sapcc-2.7.2-windows-x64 today but  same Issue with new version sapcc-2.7.2-windows-x64 on windows 10
