Can´t import Items on DTW

Hi SAP community! So, I was importing items in DTW and everything was going ok but I have some items on my template that manage both, number and batch numbers and DTW said this "You cannot manage both serial and batch numbers for one item".  Anyone knows how to solve this?

Or is there a way to import the items with only the serial number and add the batch number later via SAP?

Hi Olivas,

I believe an item can't be managed by both serial numbers and batch as in Item Master Data, there is no 'both' option

Maybe you can try just managing by serial number and input batch number as an attribute to the serial number?

Hi,

You have to create the different 2 Item one is manage by Serial No & Other are manager by Batch wise......because SAP not allow to manage Both option at a time ....But these senario you can manager by using the alternative Item functionallty....
