STAD analysis questions

Hello, we are doing some research at a University and we are hoping for some specific information regarding the STAD log.  Is there a way to analyze specific tasks within a transaction.  For example, we want to see if someone used the sort function while executing a specific report.

Hi Noreen

STAD won't give you the info you are after.

If you want to have a detailed analysis of a report/transaction with the calls made from within the report then you would be looking at running tx SE30 and ST05 SQL trace.

That said I don't think you will get information on a specific sort call. What you would see in the SQL trace would be a sort by/group by statement in the trace.

Is there a specific reason you are looking for the use of a sort function ? Maybe by better understanding the reason why a better response could be forthcoming.
