Could you please suggest me on achieving this scenario for number ranges on Customer in C4C and ECC.
Case1 : ECC has internal Number range for the Customers. Which means ECC is leading in this case and customers are created in this number range in ECC. Thus when the ECC customer is replicated to C4C , C4C should get its own internal ID and the External ID would be the same as the ECC number. What should be done in Business Configuration of C4C to achieve this ?
Case 2: What we also want is that, when a prospect is converted to customer in C4C, this customer should be replicated to ECC. Please note that in ECC we have internal number switched on. In this case , once the replication from C4C to ECC happens , what should be done so that the replication confirmation from ECC would not create a new customer in C4C but use the existing one.
Additional Question : How is a relation established between Internal ID of C4C and ECC Customer number in ECC?
