IDM configuration activity on GRC

Hi All,

I have been through many threads(like IDM - GRC Integration | SCN, , http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-35525 ) on GRC IDM integration, and i understood that only, the optional Call Back services need to be configured on GRC. The remaining(bulk of the configuration) is on IDM.

I just need to know, if any configuration except Call Back services, needs to be done on GRC system

Yes,when we are integrating IDM with GRC only need to configure callback service in GRC box

1. Activating GRC Web Services

2. Creating a connector (for the Callback Service result handling scenario)

3. Maintaining connectors and connection types

4. Maintaining connection settings

5. Maintaining connector settings in Access Control

6. Maintaining mappings for actions and connector groups

Hello Srinivas,

While configuring the HTTP connection between IDM 8.0 and GRC 10.1, the connection test is prmptin me message as 'connection to partner is broken'.

Any clue over here ?

Hello Yatin,

Some times compatibility issues may be reason for 'connection to partner is broken' issue.

Please check whether the IDM version including SP levels are compatible with GRC version.

If any mismatches, you may apply latest SP version to fix this issue.
