Payroll Posting problem - Balancing field "Profit Center" in line item 194 not filled

Hi,

I am  getting following posting error in our payroll. Any suggestion to resolve this will be appreciated.

Error in document: HRPAY 0000002320 RPMCLNT750

Balancing field "Profit Center" in line item 194 not filled

Hi Farrukh,

Regarding your first error, your getting problem in 194 line Item GL and in that GL Profit center as required field may be, kindly check with your FI guy regarding your first query, they can be able to help you.

Second Issue, This error is generally due to conflict in deriving the cost objects. For eg: through business area combination u may be deriving one cost center and might have assigned different costcenter which have different business area assigned to it. Change the business area/cost center to the uniform ones.

Message - No substitute cost center maintained (we want cost center to be picked from employee master)

Explanations: If above error is solved, this will go off.

NOTE: These 2 Issues can be done by FI/CO not HR.
