RFC error register error in SAP

Hi Team,

I am trying to connect the RFC connection between R3 and portal.

I have created the RFC connection type TCP/IP in R3 with program id

I have updated same program id in portal at destination.

I am getting the following RFC error in R3 and from portal to R3 am connecting fine.

I have updated the following parameter in Portal side

gw/acl_mode = 0

Please let me know how to proceed this

Thanks,

Hello,

Which is the gateway that is being defined at the JCO/JRA, at the Portal?

Is it a gateway from the Portal itself?

In this case, you need to fill the "gateway options" at the SM59 destination, at the R/3 system, pointing them to the same gateway used at the JCO/JRA settings.

Hello,

The "gw/acl_mode = 0" should be set on the backend ABAP side.

Set it in your instance/default profile for it to be permanent. The parameter is dynamic so you can also set it by using tx RZ11 for immediate effect.

Hi,

Since the update of the parameter on the ABAP side, have you tried to stop/start the JCO Destination on the EP ?

1.  Could you share the SAP version details of Portal & R3 system?

2. Could you refer the SAP KBA 1893014 - program <program ID> not registered

Hi,

Check your J2EE trace files and also increase the trace level on the GW trace file and check the GW trace file to see why your JCO is not able to register.

Default assumption that your connection details in the JCO Dest are correct.

Hi Bikshamaiah,

Can you check reginfo file content in portal gateway.

it might have entries to accept only requests from local and internal .

Create new entry with "*" as parameters value and comment local and internal entries . Restart gateway and test RFC from R3 system.
