Transporting Factory and Holiday Calendar Changes

Hi All,

This question has been asked many times but I couldn't get a clear picture.

So I have made the changes in Holiday and Factory Calendar in development system. Now in development we can transport the changes in SCAL by pressing F8.

My doubt is that if I go ahead with the transport then the changes that I have done will be moved to quality only or to production too.

I don't want the changes to move to production as we need to follow the traditional path of Dev-> Quality-> Production.

Also if the changes do move to quality only then how to transport them to production afterwards when required, as I noticed in quality the "Transport" option is greyed out and SCAL tocde is set to display only.

Please let me know if clarification is required in above statements.

Hi

if you need to transport changes to either quality only or production only. you can achieve this by creating transport copies using transport request in which changes are updated.

when creating transport copies, you can specify where this request should be moved.
