Outbound Purchase Order Integration

Hi everyone,

we would like to use the EDI purchase order integration to sent POs for certain suppliers straight away to HCI Middleware.

However during activation of the communication arrangement "Purchase Order Integration", the system provides following error message.

Unfortunately support was not able to help yet. Do you have any idea would the problem could be?

Hello Thomas,

1) In the Communication Arrangement: Purchase Order Integration

2) Under Business Partner Data

3) Identification Type -->try removing: Dun & Bradstreet number

--> typed some value --> Save and Reactivate

4) Now again try selecting Identification Type and put the value as

Dun & Bradstreet number --> Save and Reactivate

Check if this is helping to resolve the error or not.

Hello Thomas,

another partner got the same error message but was still able to use the communication arrangement. Please try out. If the communication arrangement is still not working then this is a clear support issue and they need to solve it.
