ESS to Display Pay Slip but with User Authentication

Hello Experts,

Please help!!

Scenario: Client wants to display payslip on ESS but with password protection.

Employee logins to the ESS –> ID and password required to login to the ESS portal.

Employee Clicks option to view payslip -> again System should ask for User ID Password.

Requirement: Is to make payslip password protected on portal.

Hi Dhiren,

did you get the solution?

1. i am not sure why do the client wants to password protect to view the payslip in 1st place they enter the user name & password to logon to ESS?

2. from the authorization point of view (i am not good at them) you can restrict it by some auth object but not sure about the password protection

3. i think it is not possible to achieve through standard - may be a custom program (badi, BAPI or FM) can clear the logon values when accessing the ESS payslip forms
