ERR_WIS_30252 after migrating from BO3.1SP04FP5 to BI4.1SP06

Hi,

I'm having a problem in BI4.1

We recently migrated from BO3.1SP04FP5 to BI4.1SP06. We're busy testing but I noticed smth very wrong.

Only the rights of the users under administrator group work as it should. The rest of the accounts cannot vew,refresh, schedule, edit, etc... any of the reports.

We're only using Web Intelligence at the moment.

I get the error message: "You security profile does not  include permission to edit this document.(Error: ERR_WIS_30252. Error: INF)"

This particulate account profile has refresher right on the report folder. This access level worked as it should on BO3.1SP04

Can someone please help?

Hi,

Following steps can resolve the issue -

1. Login to the Central Management Console (CMC)
2. Go to the Applications area
3. Select Web Intelligence
4. Select Manage User Security
5. Grant to the user/group the right "Reporting - enable formatting" within the Specific Rights for Web Intelligence

It is clearly evident that the related objects are denied some where. Try with Security query to identify the place where it is actually denied.

I just ran the security query and noticed that none of the rights is denied. They are either granted or specified.

BUT I'm going to use the export to compare it with the the rights under BO3.1.

Maybe one or more of the rights aren't migrated as they should.
