Hi,

We are create a BOM and done production in SAP B1

               Product.(Parent)             PC001       1 Nos

              Components                     Comp1      1 Nos

                                                      Comp2      1 Nos

                                                      Comp3      1 Nos

We want to split (disassemble ) the product (parent item) in SAP. please suggest the suitable solution

Hi,

SAP B1:

In your production order screen you can find a field called 'Order Type" on your right corner with a drop-down list option as below:

1. Production Order

2. Dis-assembly

3. so on...

Order For a normal process like assembly,machining etc., will have this field as 'Production Order". Since you want to dis-assembly select Dis-Assembly option to this field and header material as PC001.

Remaining things are as usual.

While taking Goods Movement will be as below:

1. During GI Parent Material PC001 will be consumed to make this Order.

2. During GR Components will be returned to Store.
