Copying XLS templates when copying plan area

Hi All,

When creating new planning areas in IBP S&OP providing new prefixes for attributes etc. also being able to copy XLS templates would be very beneficial. Any possibilities to also copy the XLS templates when creating a planning area by defining the chosen prefixes used for attributes and key figures which will be applied in the XLS templates for the new planning area?

Hi Peter,

Unfortunately not as the planning views contain planning area specific objects.

You can refer to attachment "How to transfer templates" from IBP note 1790530 S&OP / IBP Planning View Templates for the Excel Add-In. It provides guidance on how to build similar templates.

Hi Alecsandra, All right thanks for the feedback, I was hoping for an easy way of replicating the planning area specific objects into a new template:-) But we can apply the procedure from the note you mention. Thanks again.
