Posting Date

Dear Gurus,

We are moving from a Manually posting process to an Automatic posting process.

Nowadays, we modify Posting Date according some specific parameters before posting. But, if we set to Automatic Transfer after approvals, we are not sure how the system determine the Posting Date in these cases.

We perform some tests, and we found the system is using the approvals date. Is this correct?

What about "Claims non travel related expenses"??

Is there any way to configure/modify this?

Thank you very much Sigi.

That Badi has been already validated, but if we change the posting date through that Badi, reconciliation is no longer possible.

Because of that, we need to know how SAP C4TE determines the posting date as standard and if that determination could be customized into the tool.

Hi Gonzalo,

I'm not aware of any customizing here.

Normally the "last day of trip" will be used in standard for the posting date.

I have tested on this.

The latest date of expense in the Non Travel related expense report will be taken as posting date.
