Hi All,
For some reason the validity dates inside the product substitution procedure are not considered during the creation of sales order.
M1 M2 01-oct-2015 20-oct-2015
When I create a sales order for 26-oct-2015, I can see the product substitution is getting kicked in for M1 and system is doing the avail check for M2 as well.
Please advice.
Thanks,
Suhail Shaik
Hello Suhail -
What is the APO release you're using ?
As of SCM 7.0 EHP3, MBDAT of the order is considered to validate the Substitution rule. Check if your MBDAT is falling in the validity.

Babu - thanks for your reply, yes I am aware of the MAD and it is same as the delivery date.
SAP provided me a note and the actual check seems to be working fine now however in the APO overview screen I still see M1 and M2 when the dates are not valid and I have posted the same back to SAP.
I will update once I get this answered.
Thanks,
Suhail Shaik
