create group

Hi All,

I am new to personas and also SAP backend, having worked in Portal for the past two years.

I have two flavors - one for SMEN and for one SU01. I would like to create a group, set these flavors to as default so when the users log in they will see these flavors only when going into SMEN and SU01 transaction. any ideas?

Also is it possible to set the default theme to the group as well?

I am working on SAP personas 3.0.

Hi Adnan,

You can go to

* /n/persos/admin_ui -> Group Management -> Group Maintenance

* select a group

* add system

* add users

* save

* edit group again

* click on Assign flavors button in Systems table

* select flavors from SMEN and SU01

* check "Default Flavor" option

* click ok

* Save

I get "transaction /persos/admin_ui does not exist" error

I am on Personas v3?

In Personas 3.0 it is /PERSONAS/ADMIN

Yes, which option do I choose as there is no group maintenance option

I've tried user / role maintenance but not familiar with the process to create a group under this

Go to "Role maintenance", press "Add/New role", enter your role. There you can assign your flavors on the bottom right corner and set them as "Assigned" and as "Default".

You can add a theme to this role as well. Simply go to /PERSONAS/ADMIN -> Theme maintenance and add your role for this theme. There you might set it as default as well i think.
