Hi Experts,

I am using Lumira 1.28 and server 1.28 server for BI platform. I am using BEx query as my datasource. I am using mostly "Cross Tab" in my reports.

Now the issue is reports are taking lot of time to open in  Launch Pad. Is there a way i can improve the rendering time for the reports.

Will installing JVM on BI platform server will be of any help?

Hi Vivek,

There could be lot of things that could slow down the storyboard.

1. Make sure you have sized your BI Platform for SAP Lumira. Refer

2. Check your BEx Queries if that is causing any performance problems. Eliminate bringing any unnecessary data and bring in data only that is required.

3. Execute the BEx query in Analyser to see how it is executing to pin issues related to your back end system.
